9/11 & Memory: Four planes hijacked. The Pentagon attacked. The collapse of the Twin Towers. Thousands dead. And you’re stranded in the middle of the ocean - with no TV, no radio, no news. What do you do when 9/11 happens and you can’t see it? And how do you make sense of the radically different world you must return to?

9/12 was the first day of a different world. It’s as if the world was violently torn out of one universe into a parallel reality. We fell through the looking glass, into opposite world. 9/12 was the dawning realization that nothing that I believed to be reality was inaccurate or worse, completely a deception. What little innocence I had on 9/10 was obliterated. It’s as if our nation in a continuous state of mourning.
