Description

Bennis minces no words in this genuinely historical review, starting BEFORE the 1917 Balfour Declaration and running to the shameful present. She points out that USA support for the formation of Israel was fueled by antisemitism, including turning away ships loaded with Jewish refugees during the Hitler era. She describes the USA's fraudulent role as mediator of the "peace process" and its disastrous effects on Palestinians' struggle to survive. Bennis is a fellow of the Institute for Policy Studies and author of numerous important books and articles. To learn more, go to https://ips-dc.org/ips-authors/phyllis-bennis/ .
