New Years Eve in Times Square: A Spectacular TraditionThis years New Years Eve celebration in Times Square features a state-of-the-art ball with programmable LED numerals, synced to the ball and displaying colors and patterns. The ball will relight in red, white, and blue for Americas 250th anniversary, marking the start of semiquincentennial celebrations. Over one ton of biodegradable confetti will rain down, with personal wishes from around the world. The event will be broadcasted on Dick Clarks New Years Rockin Eve with Ryan Seacrest, headlined by Diana Ross and thirty-nine artists.
