The Bro and Girl Code are unwritten rules that guide friendships between guys and girls. They cover things like loyalty, respect, and supporting each other. It's all about being there for your friends and treating them with kindness and understanding. It's likened to a guidebook for being a good friend.

In many cases, these codes have produced some unhealthy outcomes that have made some people conclude that these codes are disguised rules to help preserve toxicity and wrong behaviours between friends on the excuse of wanting to maintain the integrity of friendship between folks of the same gender.
