Tragic shark attack at Kylies Beach in Crowdy Bay, New South Wales, claims life of a 25-year-old woman and severely injures her 26-year-old boyfriend. The couple, using GoPro to film dolphins, was attacked by a mature bull shark. The man, despite his injuries, bravely fought off the shark and applied a tourniquet to his own leg, potentially saving his life. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The man was airlifted to John Hunter Hospital and has since been stabilized. All nearby beaches have been closed indefinitely as a precaution.
