We pay tribute to a music royalty, the veteran all-round, totally committed to his craft Lead, Rhythm, Acoustic, Classical Guitarist; 4 and 5-string Bass Guitarist; Piano and Synthesizer Keyboard Player; Composer and Songwriter; Recording Artiste; Published Author; Producer, Scriptwriter and Film Director; Music Teacher, Actor, Rediffusion Deejay and former Chairman of the Board of Directors, at Composers and Authors Society of Singapore (COMPASS) and formerly from the family music outfit and homegrown Singaporean band Gypsy and one-half of the award-winning duo, Mel & Joe… Gosh! Did I miss anything out? And… of course, we sang a Bee Gees number at the end of the show and I left the heavy lifting to him, naturally! Mel Ferdinands, everyone!
