Kris Kuksi is a sculptor of Intricately layered objects. His artwork is both narrative and open to interpretation. With influences of classical and contemporary styles, his sculptures deal with human psychology, social obstacles, and the abuse of power. His work can be both intensely intriguing, and possibly disturbing. Stare long enough and you get sucked into the intricacy of Kris Kuksi's mind. We discuss how he uses sourced model pieces and found objects. Using very little color, he creates a monochrome sculpture that explodes with imagination.



In our discussion we covered many topics of art and life experiences. Such as the farmers in the small Kansas town that Kris Kuksi lives in, have had UFO sightings, and discovered their cattle surgically operated on. We share that both of us have had UFO sightings that were so strange, that we had no other rational explanation for them. We discussed the dangers that political and religious authorities have on human freedom. Kuksi explained how all of this has been expressed in his artwork.
