North Carolinas Caleb Wilson and Henry Veesaar delivered double-doubles, scoring twenty and eighteen points respectively, as the Tar Heels defeated Georgetown 81-61. Despite Georgetowns early lead, North Carolina took control with a decisive twelve-to-two run in the second half, fueled by three-pointers from Dixon, Veesaar, and Jarin Stevenson. This victory marks the first time since 1994-95 that a Tar Heels duo has averaged at least sixteen points and eight rebounds per game.
