The Giants season has officially ended, as Eli Manning has been benched in favor of Geno Smith/David Webb.  Ben McAdoo will most likely be fired once the season has finished.  Giants fans see the benching of Eli as a slap in the face, but you have to keep in mind that this is the right strategy once it's clear your season is over and you need to find a suitable replacement for the franchise QB once his time is up. His games started streak will come to an end 87 games shy of Brett Favre's, but also one that will be probably never be matched.

In other news, the Chiefs continue to flail while the Eagles reassert their dominance on the rest of the league.  There are a select few games this week with playoff positioning on the line, and the wild card picture is starting to heat up in both conferences.
