Union men's and women's hockey open ECAC Hockey play; Shinder talks area college football

On the latest edition of “The Parting Schotts Podcast,” Daily Gazette of Schenectady (N.Y.) sports editor Ken Schott once again talks about college hockey and college football.
Schott has interviews from Tuesday’s media availability with Union men’s and women’s hockey. On the men’s side, it’s John Prokop, Josh Nixon and Cullen Ferguson as the Garnet Chargers get set to open ECAC Hockey play with two games against Capital Region-rival RPI. On the women’s side, it’s assistant coach Shawn Skelly and players Emma Hebert and Maddie Suitor as the Garnet Chargers start ECACH play with home games against Harvard and Dartmouth this weekend.
Schott also speaks with RPI men’s hockey head coach Dave Smith and team captain Jake Gagnon on the matchup with Union.
