Text: 1 John 2:18-29We begin a five-part series examining New Testament letters written to the early church at a particular time in history and looking through the language of their times to find the message of the Good News that still applies to us today. Our first passage from 1 John has often been read contemporarily with fear and trepidation but should instead remind us that hope is found in Christ’s eternity and is greater than the fears of tomorrow’s uncertainties.
