Jesus redefined the kind of Father God is. God is the God of the individual. Each and every one of us matters to God. God has no favourites. God comes to teach us the value of family. We need to be fathers who create family, and we need to be there. As fathers we are meant to be there. God is approachable. Fathers need to rule sacrificially. Gods’ forgiveness is available every day. When we sin we are not breaking laws, we are breaking hearts. Christians should be experts at forgiveness, and as fathers, we need to learn how to forgive. We need to show our children how to live. We need to nurture our children.
