God has a standard. His standard is perfection. We as humans fall short of God’s standard. Sin is a condition. God cleanses us through forgiveness. He restores us. He saves us from death. Salvation comes after repentance. You can’t have salvation unless you repent. Repentance comes with change from the inside. We begin to live differently. Our actions begin to change. Because of His great love, being rich in mercy, we have been saved. By grace we have been saved. Grace is God’s riches at Christ’s expense. Salvation is the greatest gift the world has ever known.
