Description

Episode 18 is here, and we have one of my closest friends, the beautiful inside and out, Diego Maricio aka Prizma!!

Diego is a true artist, ranging from motion graphics & 3D to photography to web design and even psytrance music production, in the past few years Diego has blasted onto the Visuals scene and taken up VJing and projection mapping, creating absolutely stunning visuals pulling from his native heritage, they invoke super light language and a pure authentic, healing experience.

We chat about growing up in Bolivia and then moving to Sweden, his first introductions to art theater and motion graphic, living in the jungles of brazil making psytrance, meeting TAS in brazil before he was VJing, eventually going to modem and seeing him VJ, photographing and videoing events DJs and art exhibits, coming to Israel (where we met) and planting a seed that eventually bloomed into getting immersed in visuals and projection mapping, we go into zapotec and the language of these and other ancient native civilizations, studying and researching ancient peoples and bringing their art and culture into the digital realm, keeping them alive and introducing them to a broader audience.

For Prizmas SET he shows us his killer Resolume set up, his powerful layering techniques with ancient patterns and how he makes them in photoshop and after effects and some 3d projection mapping content.
