Can we honor the sacrifice veterans have made without glamorizing military service?
It is a fine line to toe but I believe it is necessary for our community to heal.
During this episode I want to discuss where the culture of honoring veterans came from and why it is used by governments, politicians, and corporations (sometimes as a political weapon).
I would also like to assess the effectiveness of this ‘honor.’ & how do veterans really feel about it?
