Once again Commander Stuart Bateson from Victoria Police joins us for an update on what’s going on.
We discuss the recent St Kilda protests, the racism involved, and how police kept both sides of the protest and the public safe. Plus are we expecting any further demonstrations for Australia Day?
And with Midsumma Festival here, the police are out in the community showing their support, but also keeping things safe, at events like Carnival Day and Pride March, as well as getting some friendly competition happening in the soccer Pride Match against the Melbourne Rovers on February 2.
