Today, we sat on the couch with the legendary Vin Rock of Naughty by Nature. Swung by the shop to talk about all things naughty by Nature in Ill Town Slugger.
You start off with growing up in New Jersey and forming the rap group Naughty by Nature in a lot of the perils that came alongside doing such a huge task. They would call several times being not accepted by the New York Hiphop community because they were from New Jersey. Just didn't stop them of course this just made them want to prove themselves in the music business even more. This sort of gave them a chip on their shoulder that they use today advantage.
Surely, it helped them with making a a slew of hits such as OPP, hip hop hooray, jamboree and so on and so forth.
Talk about the break up of naughty by Nature and what brought them together for the first time since the pandemic. We also get into their new ventures such as Illtown Slugger clothing.
