WAVES Film Bazaar & ProducerLAND Launch NFDC Producers Lab: A Closed-Door Event for Mid-Career ProducersThis November, the WAVES Film Bazaar and ProducerLAND are teaming up to launch the NFDC Producers Lab, a program aimed at helping mid-career producers in India enhance their skills and refine their professional practices. The event, running from November 20th to 24th, will feature twelve selected producers and will offer two main tracks: one for career development and another for film project development.Following the success of the Transmedia Lab, which focused on cross-platform storytelling, this pilot program aims to establish a framework for unique storytelling from the Global South. Storiculture, ProducerLANDs parent company, is dedicated to strategic intellectual property development and supporting new voices in the industry.Notable projects include Monsters of My Mind, a transmedia storytelling universe that explores mental health in young adults, and a six-month Comic Book Lab that supports ten young creators in developing an anthology of diverse stories.
