TFF are honoured to be dropping the first ever episode of our newest series, The Female Footy Forum: TF3. Our team is made up of Alex Abrahams, Julie Maheu, Maria Procopio, and we are joined by the amazing Paige Culver. Paige is a professional female soccer player currently playing in the France First Division for ASJ Soyaux. We talk about the UWCL Final, and what that final means for the women’s game around the world. We discuss the lack of promotion of the UWCL game, and social media has been a platform which both promotes the women’s game as well as taking steps back. Paige talks about the differences between North American soccer culture versus European football culture. We also ask “What will it take for Canada to be a top contender in the 2021 Olympic games and the 2023 Women’s World Cup?” We are also dropping our first ever “The Tea with Julie” segment to make sure we always keep you up to date with the latest gossip and headlines in the professional women’s game.
