Waymo, the Alphabet company, is expanding its driverless taxi service to 20 new U.S. cities and international locations like London, Tokyo, and New York City. With a fleet of Jaguar I-Pace electric vehicles, they aim to quadruple their rides from 250,000 to 1 million per week by 2026. Waymos cars are reportedly five times safer than human drivers, and public support is growing.
