We're back after a wild Ironman World Championship race that saw one former world champion drop out early on the bike (Chelsea Sodaro), another defending champ here DNF in the heat (Lucy Charles-Barclay), and then race leader Taylor Knibb collapse with less than two miles to go.
We hear from our new 2025 Ironman World Champion Solveig Løvseth — completing the Norwegian sweep of the Ironman titles this year.
And then we chat with most of the podium post-race and in the press conferences. Including:
- Kat Matthews' run course record and closing the gap in second to just 35 seconds
- How 2024 Ironman World Champion Laura Philipp stayed calm as chaos reign in front of her
- And what led to surprises like Hannah Berry's 4th place — the highest from a Kiwi in 18 years
