What’s Keeping You Broke, Misunderstood, and Stuck
Description
What do people think of you when they first see you? Is their impression fair? Should you care? I discuss this and more with Daja Benton, CEO of the Finance Therapy Group. She is a tax accountant, business strategist, and financial therapist. We explore how to be personable without being personal, how to reclaim your day after it’s been lost, and the worst possible clients you could have.
Throughout the conversation you’ll get answers about what’s keeping you broke, misunderstood, and stuck.

3 things to remember from this episode:
Not having somebody in your business is keeping you broke. Not having someone show you where you’re going wrong and what you’re doing right is blinding you and keeping you broke. You need someone to give you direction and expert opinion.
The most miserable client experience is accepting a client who doesn’t want to do the work. Have standards for how your clients need to show up.
You’re only in control of things you decide to control. If your day gets derailed, if you didn’t accomplish any of your to-do list, give yourself permission to restart the day no matter what time it is.
