This week Lacey chats with Kenzie, an Occupational Therapist specializing in home health for adults and geriatric adults. Occupational Therapists seem to be the hidden gems of the healthcare industry in that people never really know what they do but thats because they are doing absolutely everything. It is a profession that really covers it all; from helping women about to give birth to helping geriatric adults continue to function on a daily basis. Lacey and Kenzie dig into all the facets of being an OT: the work they do, the required training and what a career as an OT can look like and of course Lacey wraps it up with some advice.
