Why can it be so hard for us to believe good things about ourselves? On today’s episode of The Christ-Driven Woman, Charisse shares her own struggle with patience and growth. She encourages listeners with the truth that God has good things in store for us, and just because we need to grow through them does not mean they aren’t good. When we find ourselves lost and questioning the Father’s good plans for us, Charisse suggests asking the following questions:

1. Ask yourself: When did I start believing that God does not have good things for me?


2. Ask Jesus: Where were you when that thought first took root?


3. Ask God: What is the truth?


4. Ask God: What do You call me?


5. Ask God: How can I know the truth?

After asking these questions, open your ears to receive the answers and write down what you hear. God will find a way to answer each one of these questions in a way that will reach your heart in His perfect timing. Oftentimes it can be difficult for us to think positively about ourselves because we still don’t believe that God has good things in store.
