The first episode of According To B is here and my co-host for this episode is none other than the nation's songbird Shekhinah! Join us as we talk all about romantic comedies and how this film genre has impacted our expectations and perception of love and romance, and whether what we saw in the movies can and matches up to real life.

Shekhinah expresses her views on romanticism, spills the tea on her favourite romantic comedy movies, breaks down her favourite rom-com tropes, how her views on love has evolved over throughout her twenties, what the experience of falling in love with herself and healing has been for her and she even builds her own perfect rom com!

Shekhinah is a South African RNB & pop; singer/songwriter who first captured the souls of many during her time on South African Idols over two seasons. She has released multiple hit songs including Back to the Beach, Suited, Fixate, Let You Know and Please Mr. Her soulful and timeless debut album Rose Gold won the hearts of many South Africans and continues to. She has also won multiple South African music awards including Album of the Year and female artist of the year for her album Rose Gold. She is also the founder of Rosefest, a festival focused on uplifting women in the South African music industry.
