They look at the lines for tonight's matchup and with it being a NHL heavy lineup, the guys project what we these lines could possibly tell us heading into the beginning of the regular season. The guys then touch on the backup goalie battle going on as well.

First they talk about the Edmonton Oilers acquiring Goaltender Connor Ingram from the Utah Mammoth, and how that acquisition changes things in Edmonton. Then, they get into the Luke Hughes extension and how it sets the bar for young defensemen coming off of their Entry Level Contract. Then they touch on how it effects the Quinn Hughes to the Devils rumours.
