Deuteronomy 19:14 tells us: You shall not move your neighbor’s boundary mark, which the ancestors have set, in your inheritance which you will inherit in the land that the Lord your God gives you to possess. God really does have a blessing for us and our adult children and one of those blessings is the privilege of being in each other’s lives. But as we round the corner of a new year we’ve learned so much about mutual respect, setting and leaving boundaries in place, and realizing there’s joy in allowing these adults we’ve raised to grow and be themselves. Join us as we talk about when our kids need us to be their “surrogate” best friend, hear verses about how we should season our words, and enjoy the warmth of grace for our kids and grace for ourselves.
