What is Parenting Equality? And why is it important enough to present to the Ohio House?

Today we are speaking with State Representative Rodney Creech on parenting equality. He is serving his first term in the Ohio House of Representatives. He represents the 43rd District, which consists of Preble County and a portion of Montgomery County.
His top 3 initiatives while in office include agricultural gains, workforce development, and parenting equality.
About 55% of Americans end up divorced, and the majority of them have children, according to Rep. Creech.
"There's a lot of parents that want to help raise their kids and the other parent won't let them," he added.
Rep. Creech said he has already begun to meet with stakeholders to discuss the issue. He believes it is one that will garner bipartisan support.
