Since I was a young teen, I have loved business. The struggle for me was not knowing which direction to go with my future. I was blessed to have started my first business at 16 years old. While attending college, I was able to work in a small business, holding nearly every position possible within a company. I then moved into a large corporation before rounding out my experience as an entrepreneur. I've always believed in the power of innovation and entrepreneurship to change lives and shape the future.

About Liz Mugavero
I’ve been a writer since I could hold a pen. As a kid, I used to demand my mother read to me until I could do it on my own, and from then on my nose was always stuck in a book. I wrote it all—bad poetry, short stories, even the outline for a soap opera during a Days of Our Lives kick. I would even sit at my mother’s old typewriter and type out chapters of my favorite books to see what it felt like to actually write a book. In fifth grade, I wrote an essay describing my success as an author, and I’ve been on the path to achieving that dream ever since.

I blame my grandfather for my fascination with crime, serial killers and murder—he was a detective, and although he never regaled me with any really juicy tales, it didn’t stop me from making them up. I was—still am—obsessed.

About Naeemah Elias
I grew up in poverty on the south side of Chicago. I went to Harvard, became a professional actress and puppeteer, became a mom (then single mom when the kids were 2, 4, 6), built a corporate career, and finally launched my own coaching practice. It's been a Whole Journey!!

I have 3 focus areas:

1. Thriving as an Outsider - I coach people to overcome cultural blockers to achieve their full potential, and I coach leaders to create space for growth (their own, and their directs')

2. Public Speaking - I teach public speaking from an actor's perspective in corporate settings. And I speak on the power of effective communication.

3. I've raised 3 teens, primarily as a single-mom. They are all going to school internationally, and our focus has been on independence and responsibility.
