When Survivors Give Birth with Jenn Fontaine
During this sensitive episode, When Survivors Give Birth, with my guest Jenn Fontaine, we dive into the heart of birthing families who have a history of trauma. Jenn is a 'When Survivors Give Birth' educator, a program and perspective developed by Penny Simkin. Together we talk about:
- What inspired her to teach 'When Survivors Give Birth'
- How it has changed her practice as a busy Doula
- What she is noticing as trends within the birthing milieux
- What she would like moms to know about this sensitive topic of conversation
Although the topic is heavy in nature, the conversation flowed with deep sensitivity and respect for the nature of the topic.
