The book of Zephaniah highlights vivid explanations of the judgment that awaits all men in the great Day of the Lord; a Day that will be filled with recompense for every deed done whether good or evil. This declaration came at a time when Zephaniah was under the wicked rule of King Manasseh, and just like the meaning behind his name, Zephaniah was hidden by God's sovereign hand from any harm that would have come his way. In the same breath, in this day and age, Pastor Richard Chege aims to show us how just like the Israelites of old, each of us has committed serious offences against a mighty and holy God. We are fugitives pursued by God's wrath and justice and have nowhere to run unless it is to Him.
