Description

There was a journey to be undertaken by all teenage boys and girls when they reached a certain age. The journey is one of self-discovery. One were they put into practice all the skills they have learnt.

One where, the only way they will survive, is if they master their vibration and skills and intuition. Not all kids come through this test and make it to adulthood. This is not a test that is hard for the sake of being hard.

No, it is hard for a reason. For being an adult comes with different responsibilities. Different things are expected from you. You can no longer feed off your family and play with your friends with reckless abandon.

No, now is the time you start taking self-responsibility for the life you are about to create for yourself. When you find a partner who you will serve and will serve you. And the two of you will create your life together.

A magical life. But first, you have to pass the test otherwise none of this matters. The test, in these times when our ancestors lived, will make us or break us. We have been learning for years now.

How to hunt, to forage in the forest. To find warmth on a freezing night out on the mountains. To find water when there appears to be none. Above all, to be guided by our intuition and our spirit guides as to what to do.

What path to take. The group of children are taken out into the wild, far from the village. They are only allowed a knife and a rope and the clothes they are wearing. They must survive for 3 days out in the wild.

They will need to hunt and find water. They will need to create a shelter. They will also need to get back to the village faster than the others if they wish to choose their favorite partner before someone else will.

This is a competition to not only survive but to be cunning and fast. The children are taken by horseback to the other side of the mountain range. They must find their way back from that point.

They are dropped off at different points for they are not allowed to work together. This is an individual journey and test. To listen to their intuition, they must find the quiet in their mind.

In they panic or struggle and suffer. They will not hear that voice of reason and knowledge from within their mind. Guiding them as to what to do next. Answering the questions with a definitive yes or no to whatever is asked.

Should I go straight up this mountain, no. You will die from exposure on the top. There is snow and freezing temperatures. And so, you must go the long way round. You will find water in the stream.

Hunt and kill a rabbit and use it’s skin as a water pouch, it’s meat as your food source. There are many questions to ask on such a journey. You have to learn to trust the voice and take the required action.

It can be a challenge. Is the voice my intuition or is it simply my ego. Two very different outcomes are possible. One could even kill you. And so you head off, over the rocks and through the forest.

Its already late in the day, you are already tired from the long horse ride. But you must remain focused. You must know that your guides are there for your to succeed and thrive on this adventure.

You quieten your mind. You are still in the rawness of the natural world. You ground yourself back to earth. You remember your inner power and strength. You need to find wood and build a fire to keep yourself warm.

The cold will stop you being able to think and make decisions. It will slowly kill you during the night. But, before long you have a fire roaring. You have found large branches to make yourself a shelter.

Your next goal is to protect yourself form the wild animals. There are always mountain lion about and many other dangerous animals. They all hunt at night and they are all hungry and looking for an easy meal.

Will you be that easy meal. It will not be a fun experience. Your senses are heightened with the danger about. You hear every wind rustle and every twig snapping. You hear the soft pad of paws on the earth.

However, you will safe with your fire and with your guides looking over you. This is how everyone lived during these times. You look up and see the milky way, billions of stars, so far away.

And yet you know and understand that many of those stars are your ancient ancestors. Guiding you on your way and feeding you knowledge. The rabbit you killed has filled up your belly.

You protect your back with strong branches with inch long thorns. And at the front is your fire. You stack plenty of fire wood to put on during the night. It will be a long night, there is no doubt of that.

But you are also confident for you are not alone. You survive the night and begin your journey. You set a steady but relentless pace. Making sure you are sipping you water from your rabbit pouch and hunting whenever the opportunity presents itself.

And along with this, listening out for any warning voices in your head. Ones that warn you of dangers on your path ahead. Or animals stalking you as your jog past them. You kill a fox for your dinner.

It soft fur coat will keep you warmer than last night. Another night, disturbed sleep as you have to keep your fire fed for warmth and protection. But nothing happens and you survive another night.

Clearly someone up there is looking out for you. Another day ahead, a relentless pace, dangers lurking around every corner. But you are guided as always. At night you speak to you ancestors in the stars.

During the day, you speak to the trees that you pass. They tell you if someone has run past ahead of you. The trees talk to each other constantly. They receive messages from forests far away.

They tell you one of your friends has been hurt. But there is nothing that you can do for him. You must focus on your own journey today. Today you must be selfish. You consider this for a moment.

Your intuition says no, you must help your friend. Without your help, he will die. And so you head off to find him. He has hurt his leg and cannot walk but you help him as he leans on you for support.

He is sad and apologises. But you remind him that everything in life is a test and a lesson, for all of us. Take the lesson and do better next time. Finally, on the third day, you see your village in the distance.

You have lost of lot of time helping your friend. You were expected to be first but this will not happen. Perhaps someone will steal away the love of your life but you saw the bigger picture.

You have a conscious to live with for the rest of your life. Finally you arrive, holding up your friend who hops next to you. Your arrival is rejoiced despite not winning.

You see the respect in the adults eyes for helping a wounded friend who would surely have died were it not for your aid. It turns out, another friend attacked him and left him to die.

They are banished from the village for a month. They must fend for themselves and prove they are worthy to be let back in.

Thanks to your kindness, you are pushed to first place. You will get to choose your love after all. She will not be stolen by another’s lustful advances. You listened to your intuition and took action.

You listened to your guides and they helped you on your journey. You lived as you are supposed to live in this world. Deeply connected to the earth and nature.

Always learning lessons and becoming a better version of yourself. Always full of love for everyone around you. Always kind and thoughtful. This is the way. This is the journey.

I’d love a quick like and share to help spread my stories to others.
