Why Friendships Matter | Rally Roundtables | EP.4
Description
“Being known is one of the richest parts of life. You cannot experience friendship outside of being known and letting yourself be known by someone.” – Jenn Black
Josh and Tayla Bull sits down with some of their friends to talk about the importance of vulnerable, deep friendships.
Josh first talks with his friends Justin Harrison and Talon Hawthorne about the importance of friends who don’t just pat you on the back and affirm everything that you think and believe. Talon says, “I feel like I’m losing and not getting the fullness out of life if I don’t have people around me who think differently than me.”
Tayla then sits down with two of her best friends, Morgan Bunton and Jenn Black, to talk about the importance of difficult, uncomfortable conversations to kill bitterness and create safe spaces for friendships to flourish. “I have really experienced powerful breakthroughs on the other side of being vulnerable with my friends,” says Morgan.
Why are friendships important? How do we build friendships with people that are different from us without getting offended? How do we challenge each other in love? Join us this week as our guests walk through their good and bad experiences in friendships, hard conversations they’ve had to have with friends, and how to pursue new friendships.
