Description

If you were to create a cartoon with the biggest sports stars on the planet, who would it be? In 1991, a short lived animated series called ProStars featured the 3 greatest athletes in the world: Michael Jordan, Bo Jackson, and Wayne Gretzky. Every Saturday morning, The ProStars teamed together to help kids all over the globe, from The Australian Outback to the Amazon Rainforest.
Among these adventures, these superheroes take on wacky villains with high-tech sports gadgets, and even rescue the Stanley Cup! Was this a good cartoon? Depends on who you ask, but we breakdown all of the cartoon hijinks and reminisce about some things of the time.

We also create our own ProStars for 2023 in our usual segment, The Top 5.
