Why do we, as a culture, as a society, value things in the way that we do? How do we decide what warrants greater attention, stronger accolades, or more praise? How do we decide what is worthy of our time and money? Do we really even give it that much thought, or are we pulled down the river of public sentiment and opinion?

In this episode of Perch, we discuss the notion that perhaps we don't really value the things that are truly important, and that based on influences both internal and external, we have mis-aligned those things in our lives and in our world that are most worthy of our attention, praise, and support. We'll discuss how the things we often covet allow us avoid addressing bigger issues that prevent us from reaching higher and achieving more. Do we really understand the world around us and are we an active participant or simply in the crowd?

Remember, your Perch isn’t just a place to sit; it’s a place to seek a higher perspective.
