Why is "awareness" so selective?

Description

I'm speaking about people selectively being aware of things. Hearing the same thing from two different people, but may favor hearing it from a stranger (Or celebrity figure), than a friend. Then I close on why I disagree so strongly with the term woke, in detail, and stating that it'll be my last time addressing it during a solo episode.
