A three-part panel about particular issues related to women’s skin, bones, and sleep help. Dermatologist Susan Swetter, MD, discusses how melanoma incidence and outcomes differ between women and men. She'll also share the latest strategies for prevention of melanoma and other skin cancers. Endocrinologist Dr. Aimee Shu’s topic is precision mineralization and she will help us understand why women are at risk for fragile bones. She discusses screening for osteoporosis and provides an overview of drug therapies to treat bone fragility. Dr. Rachel Manber, a sleep health expert, talks about how different phases of life shape our sleep and shares the three factors that together determine the optimal timing and duration of sleep.
