When buyers are thinking about making a move, they often send texts, emails, and phone calls to the numbers they see associated with listings online. What they don't realize is that the agent they contact is representing the seller of the property.
When you call for more information about a listing you find online, be careful not to divulge any crucial information about your situation. If you do end up buying that home through that seller's agent, you could be giving the seller the upper hand. The agent is looking out only for the seller's best interest, which is why it's crucial to hire a buyer's agent to represent you.
