As WFMD celebrates its 50th anniversary, we’re honoring the milestone through the artistry of one of Frederick’s brightest talents: Yemi Fagbohun.

An internationally acclaimed muralist and illustrator, Yemi’s work spans Fortune 500 brands, national publications, and even Rock & Roll Hall of Fame postage stamps. But his heart belongs to Frederick, where his murals, glass art, and the iconic “Pillars of Frederick” have become landmarks.

To mark 50 years of Christmas Cash for Kids, Yemi is creating an original artwork that will be unveiled at McCutcheon’s Apple Products—home to one of his most recognized murals.
