Maddison Hinson-Tolchard, a junior on the OSU Cowgirl golf team, joins the podcast fresh off her experience in the ISPS Handa Australian Open. She and JT chop it up about the joys of Australian sand-belt golf, the pros and cons of a mixed event and just how glorious Cameron Smith's mullet is in person! The two then circle back to talk about Maddy's background and route to Stillwater, talking about the ups and downs of the OSU golf experience in 2022 (spoiler alert: more ups than downs!), and what life is like for a college golfer. They finish up by talking about Maddy's experience in the US Women's Amateur at Chambers Bay which leads JT down the golf course rabbit hole listing off all the big time courses she got to play in 2022.
