Description

Young feminists around the world connect, learn, share and build solidarity among each other through online spaces. But they also face challenges, including  lack of access to  financial resources to turn their ideas into reality, and the politics of navigating power dynamics within feminist movements.

In this episode, we’ll tell the story of three young feminists from different continents. Whether in Palestine, Nigeria or Georgia, these advocates faced challenges in keeping to their calling. But they also found a way to advance their feminist agendas through leveraging transnational feminist solidarity.

Featuring Sandie Hanna, Arab States Program Officer, Purposeful, Nino Ugrekhelidze, Independent Feminist Consultant, and Anwulika Okonjo, Global Impact Strategist in conversation with Gopika Bashi, Deputy Director of Programs at AWID.

That Feminist Fire is a podcast by AWID, the Association for Women’s Rights in Development, and produced by Hueman Group Media.
