Most dermatologists perform procedures multiple times a day that will undoubtedly result in a scar. While we routinely inform our patients about this as part of the informed consent process, there tends to be far less routine discussion about how patients can optimize the appearance of those inevitable scars. We can and should do better.
My guest is Lisa Massaad, Senior Director of Global Marketing & Business Development at Newmedical Technology, makers of the physician exclusive Silagen Scar Refinement System.

Ms. Massaad has 14 years of pharmaceutical industry sales experience, including six years as an award-winning Regional Sales Director. She joined Advanced Bio-Technologies, Inc. as the National Sales Manager and built its outside sales team. She has directed professional, consumer, and international marketing, including the launch of seven new products, while with ABT/enaltus/Sinclair IS Pharma.
Lisa received a B.A. in Political Science from Allegheny College and an M.A. in Communications/PR from Kent State University.
