Because of Jesus, we have peace with God, access to his grace, and joy that endures even through suffering. Paul reminds us that hardship produces endurance, character, and hope. And this hope will not disappoint, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Spirit. At the center of it all is the staggering truth that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. If God loved us then, how much more does he love us now as his children?
