Mike and Zach first connected in the late '90s, when Zach reached out to Mike as a Junior at Indiana State University. Building a "career relationship", Mike eventually Zach in his "dream" Risk Manager role in 2006 - fast forward to today, and Zach is an esteemed Professor in the Insurance and Risk Management field, with 20+ years experience under his belt.
In this episode, Zach details his colorful career and provides his take on the Insurance and Risk Management Sector.
This includes his experience working for NCR Corporation fresh out of college, why he wanted to get exposure to a broad spectrum of risks early on in his career, his move from the corporate risk management world into the academic world, and why the Insurance and Risk Management industry has fundamentally failed to communicate and educate the importance and impact of Risk Management.
