did you know that the global market of cosmetic surgery and procedures was valued at USD 68.9 billion in 2022? and it is projected to exhibit a compound annual growth rate of 9.6% from 2022 to 2030. idk if you're into maths or statistics (me def not), but it's easy to see that 'being beautiful' – subjectively or objectively speaking – is getting more and more important. and we're part of this system where it's not about just being healthy and eating that 5-a-day as doctor prescribed anymore. it's about being socially appealing, commercially successful, and instagram worthy.
