Am I a Shaman? After a few sessions with different clients, I've had people call me a shaman based on what their experience was like. Though, like a lot of "us", we don't give that title to ourselves. When I was a kid I never liked being labeled anything...I kept myself a moving target I guess.

I am one of 12 founding members of the Sedona Center for Shamanism. When I was invited in, I questioned myself "Do I belong here?" First, I needed to get clear on what a shaman is and what shamanism is.

Like a lot of words in language, their meaning shifts over time and and perceptions and stereotypes get shifted. Before I answered the questions, I needed to update my view...Enjoy.
