Vagmita Singh, better known by her stage name That Indian Chick, and affectionately called “Jiji” by her followers is a remarkable powerhouse of sharp comedy writing with a keen eye for human behaviour. Since launching her YouTube channel in 2014, she’s come a long way in the content creation world, branching out to short-form content, long-form content and even starring in music videos and now, a reality show on Netflix. Apart from being a content creator, she also works as a screenwriter, and we talk about that side of her life, her experience expanding from YouTube to Instagram, the impact her English literature degree had on her content, and why she finally decided to reveal her real name to the internet.
