So sad 😢 that you guys are so afraid to talk about reality. So sad you are living in the world of make believe. So sad that you are guys are afraid to see a honest take of a honest wizardly take of what actually happened in WWII. So sad that you willing decided to turn your backs on JK Rowling to the rabid wolves that are trying to rip out her throat. Way to stand up as the Dumbledore Army.

LMAO JK Rowling in her essay: IM NOT A VICTIM Eveyrone: Stop saying you're a victim. You're not. um ok. Also she literally says that she sees the trans women she knows as women but I guess it's really really important to you Americans to simplify a very complex issue in Britain and scream TRANSPHOBIA.

Was hard watching JKR masking off like this. Always wonder if my parents had to watch their heroes disappoint like this. Trans men are men, trans women are women, people just wanna pee, respect people's pronouns and be excellent to each other.

Slightly disappointed in the amount of research that went into the discussion of fantastic beasts part 2. One of the biggest apparent plot holes is McGonagall's age and whether she could be a professor, and it seems that several of the podcasters didn't even look into the cannon in advance and didn't understand why it wouldn't make sense for her to be there. Was hoping for a deeper dive into the movie.

Can I just add that the lemon drop password situation doesn't happen for like 11 years so maybe Dumbledore has just discovered them in that first chapter (so McGonagall wouldn't have heard of them then) and then develops his obsession through the year, in which time I'm sure McGonagall would have become well aware of lemon drops.

Every week Melissa, John, and Sue report the latest Harry Potter news. This includes interviews with new people such as the editor of the American version of the Harry Potter books, actors in the Harry Potter movies, as well as with dedicated fans. Every episode they answer their fans' burning questions and share their theories about what is to come in the 7th HP book and the upcoming movies. They are well associated to the Harry Potter franchise giving them opprtunities to go where many of us only dream of going and they report back to their audience wih very satisfactory results and details. Their podcasts are not only entertaining, but they shine lights on very important Harry Potter information that has been over looked by many. A pure delight to sit back and listen to! Cheers to Pottercast! And may their be many more Pottercasts to come!

I'm a fifty-something and I just love Pottercast - I find it both informative and quite a hoot! Bring on more filk casts! I am amazed at the creativity of this audience. I also like how the standard podcasts are divided into recurring segments so I know what to expect. Having interviews with the people involved with the films are just awesome and nicely complements the news from the Leaky Cauldron web site. Finally, I am impressed and appreciate the professionalism of the hosts, (and that includes you too John Noe, at least most of the time!), the modcasts, fan interviews, et al, which greatly enhances the quality of the podcast! Melissa, I don't know how you find the time to do all that you do and Sue, you're the squee-iest!

Besides my love for the Harry Potter books and films, I would listen to this podcast just to hear the hilarious stylings of John Noe. He definitely needs his own TV show. But I love this podcast because it suits the older HP fans a bit better than others and you can tell that they put more effort into organization and quality.
