5...4...3...2...1...0:David & Arthur Ponchelet

5...4...3...2...1...0

Romans:Stephen Armstrong

Romans

Paul's letter to the Romans is widely acknowledged to be the single most important theological essay ever written. Romans is literally loaded with essential Christian doctrine, and no Bible education is complete without a thorough examination of this book. Martin Luther commended every Christian to memorize Romans word-for-word, and though we may never reach this goal, we can certainly give ourselves to understanding its wisdom. The Book of Romans reads like a course in systematic Christian theology, and it holds the keys to understanding a long list of key Christian doctrines and beliefs, including soteriology (the doctrine of salvation), harmartiology (the doctrine of sin), Israelology (the doctrine of Israel), election, predestination, sanctification, and many other important truths.

The Book of Numbers:Fowey Fellowship

The Book of Numbers

Some time ago in the days of simple cassette tapes we did a study of the Book of Numbers, some of these primitive recordings were quite good, others were poor. We have decided to endeavour to put these up on our Podcasts. We would value your patience and prayers as we proceed. The first five books of the Bible are known as the Pentateuch, or five books of Moses. In the Book of Genesis, we see the record of creation, the flood, and God's election of the seed of Abraham as His eternal Chosen People. Also the wickedness of the Days of Noah and of the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, all so relevant to the times in which we are living in today. In the book of Exodus, we have redemption of Israel from Egypt through the sacrifice of a Lamb pointing the the Coming Lamb of God to redeem mankind. Leviticus gives us priestly worship through the Law given by God through Moses and the Shadows therein all pointing to our Lord Jesus. The fifth book Deuteronomy, shows an expansion and repetition of the laws from the other books in the Pentateuch. We have been putting these podcasts up on our site for some time now. In Numbers, the fourth book, we have the walk and warfare of Israel in the wilderness. We trust that we shall all be blessed as we follow Israel through This Terrible Wilderness and all of us as we seek to live and witness “in this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father”.
