ASD, Mothering & Me is a weekly catch-up of two mums who met on Instagram, who both know the daily pressures of raising disabled children. Daniela is a cancer survivor and former teacher who has one son, Rocco, who was born with a brain condition called hydrocephalus. He has had multiple brain surgeries & lives with a shunt. He also had a cleft palate repair. He is globally delayed, epileptic & diagnosed autistic.Nicole is diagnosed ADHD and formerly worked in Management. She has three children, Maisie, Elsie & Freddie. Freddie is Autistic, Maisie is on the Autism diagnosis pathway, and Elsie has had seizures her whole life. We both agree on the importance of parents looking after themselves to be the best for their children.
